Deck with Gazebo

A new composite deck with a built-in gazebo, turning a functional surface into a shaded outdoor room. The deck floor provides a large, low-maintenance surface, while the gazebo adds a roof overhead, railings around the perimeter, and a finished floor beneath — ideal for seating, dining, and shade in the heat of a Connecticut summer. The structure is designed to integrate cleanly: the gazebo sits on a properly framed and anchored base, so the whole thing feels like a permanent extension of the house rather than a freestanding add-on.
